Lot 1465:
A Lot of 100 Rounds of PMC .45 Auto Rim 200 Grain SWC-FMJ Ammunition
Sold for: $80
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of PMC .45 Auto Rim centerfire pistol ammunition, presented in two 50-round factory cardboard boxes. The cartridges are loaded with 200-grain Semi-Wadcutter Full Metal Jacket (SWC-FMJ) bullets in reloadable brass cases. This specific caliber was developed for use in revolvers such as the Smith & Wesson and Colt M1917, allowing for extraction without the need for half-moon clips. Verbatim markings on the packaging include the PMC logo, Precision Made Cartridges, 45 AUTO RIM, 200 Gr. SWC-FMJ, and MADE IN THE USA. Side panels are marked with the code 45AR and 50 CENTERFIRE PISTOL CARTRIDGES. Each individual cartridge is headstamped with the manufacturer initials P M C and the caliber designation 45 AUTO RIM.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in clean and well-preserved condition, with the brass cases showing no signs of corrosion, oxidation, or verdigris. The primers and bullets are intact and properly seated. The original cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear, including scuffing, edge fraying, and light surface soiling consistent with long-term storage, though the boxes remain structurally sound. The ammunition appears to be live and factory-original.
