Description
This lot consists of two contemporary fixed-blade hunting knives featuring pattern-welded Damascus steel blades and custom-style wood handles. The first knife features a broad drop-point blade with a prominent swirl pattern. The handle is constructed with two-tone wood scales in charcoal and medium brown shades, separated by brass and fiber spacers. It is secured with brass pins, including a central mosaic pin, and features a brass-lined lanyard hole at the pommel. The second knife features an upswept trailing point blade with a dense circular pattern. The handle is fitted with light tan and dark brown wood scales secured by three pins, including a central mosaic pin with red highlights. Both knives are of full-tang construction. Each knife includes a brown leather sheath with a belt loop and brass-tone snaps embossed with a five-pointed star. The smaller sheath features decorative scalloped stamping along the seam. No maker marks are visible on the blades, handles, or sheaths.
Blade length (approximate): Knife 1: 4.5 inches; Knife 2: 4 inches.
Condition report:
Both knives are in very good to excellent condition. The Damascus steel blades appear unused and show no signs of sharpening or oxidation. The wood handles are secure and free of cracks or visible damage. The leather sheaths are supple with functional hardware.
