Description
This lot consists of 200 nickel-plated brass cases intended for reloading, chambered in .223 Remington. The collection is organized into four plastic flip-top storage boxes, including three in green and one in red. These cases were produced by Remington-Peters and feature a bright nickel-plated exterior designed to provide corrosion resistance and smooth cycling in rifle actions. The brass is provided in a primed state but contains no powder or projectiles. Verbatim headstamp markings on the base of the cases include R-P at the top and 223 REM at the bottom, identifying the manufacturer and caliber. The plastic containers are functional 50-round rifle ammunition boxes, consistent with MTM Case-gard designs.
Condition report:
The nickel-plated finish on the cases is generally bright and clean, showing only minor handling marks and occasional instances of light surface tarnish or oxidation consistent with storage. The primers appear to be unused and are properly seated in the primer pockets. The plastic storage boxes exhibit typical light scuffing and dust from storage, but all hinges and latches remain intact and functional.
