Description
This lot features a Thompson/Center Impact! break-action muzzleloading rifle chambered in .50 caliber. Designed for sporting use, the firearm is equipped with a 26-inch barrel featuring a black finish and an under-barrel ramrod. The receiver is paired with a durable black synthetic polymer stock that includes textured grip sections and an embossed TC logo on the buttstock. The rifle is fitted with a Cabela’s 3-9×40 muzzleloader scope mounted on a single-piece base, complemented by adjustable fiber optic iron sights. Prominent markings include the barrel address Thompson/Center Springfield, MA. USA .50 Cal. and the serial number VDY7512 located on the left side of the receiver next to a matrix code. The rifle is accompanied by a black Gun Guard hard plastic transport case, a bikini-style lens cover, and the original Thompson/Center Impact! Safety and Instruction Manual. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good used condition with the black finish showing minor surface scratches and light handling wear consistent with field use. The synthetic stock is structurally sound, displaying scattered light scuffs and a small compression mark on the left side of the forend. The optics on the Cabela\'s scope are clear, and the fiber optic elements in the iron sights are bright and intact. The break-action mechanism appears to function smoothly and locks up securely. We have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected but the exterior of the muzzle appears clean.
