Description
This lot features a single Italian-manufactured break-action over-under shotgun, model Silver Iº, imported by American Arms, Inc. of North Kansas City, Missouri. The firearm is chambered for 20-gauge shells with 3-inch chambers. It is equipped with 26-inch blued barrels featuring a ventilated top rib and a brass bead front sight. The receiver is finished in a bright silver tone and is adorned with extensive floral and scroll engravings, complemented by a gold-plated single selective trigger. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut stock and forend with a high-gloss finish and a ventilated black rubber recoil pad. Key markings include the model designation SILVER Iº – MADE IN ITALY and 20GA ‘3’ on the barrel, with AMERICAN ARMS INC. N.K.C. – MO on the opposite side. The serial number A 4 2 2 7 5 is found on the receiver tang and barrel flats. The barrel flats also display Italian proof marks including a shield with star and crown, PSF, FINITO, and the BB date code, indicating a 1992 manufacture year. This shotgun is like new and is accompanied by its original factory box. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in like new condition, showing minimal signs of handling. The blued finish on the barrels is deep and uniform with no significant wear. The silver-finished receiver remains bright with sharp engravings. The checkered walnut stock and forend retain nearly all of their original high-gloss finish, with only a few very minor superficial handling marks. The bore is bright and clean. The break-action appears to function correctly and locks up tight, though we have not function-tested the firearm. The factory box shows significant wear and some structural damage but remains intact.
