Description
This is a single-shot, bolt-action rifle manufactured by the Noble Manufacturing Co. Inc. and chambered for .22 caliber Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges. The firearm features a blued finish on the barrel and receiver and is mounted in a light-colored wood stock. The stock is distinctive for its hand-incised geometric line patterns on the forend and terminates in a black, horizontally-ribbed synthetic buttplate. The action includes a bolt with a knurled manual cocking piece at the rear. Sighting is handled by a fixed front blade and an adjustable rear leaf sight. Verbatim markings on the barrel include NOBLE——MODEL 20E, NOBLE MFG. CO. INC. HAYDENVILLE, MASS., and .22 CAL. SHORT—LONG—LONG RIFLE, with the numerical stamping 062 on the right side. This firearm is being sold for repair or parts as it currently doesn’t fire and requires a trigger release lever replacement. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the barrel and receiver shows light wear and handling marks throughout with a few scattered spots of minor surface oxidation. The wood stock exhibits various dings and scratches consistent with use, and the geometric carvings appear to be a non-factory modification. The bore was not inspected. The action is mechanically impaired as the firearm does not fire and requires replacement of the trigger release lever.
