Description
This RCBS 3-die reloading set, identified by part number 18608, is designed for the .44 Magnum and .44 Special calibers. The Group B set includes three steel dies: a sizing die with an integrated decapping pin, an expander die, and a seating and crimping die, along with a number 18 shell holder and a small Allen wrench. The components are housed in a signature green RCBS plastic case featuring Omark Industries branding. Prominent markings on the box label include the RCBS logo, the part number 18608, the caliber designation .44 MAG/.44 SPEC, and the instruction to use shell holder #18. Inside the lid, unused adhesive-backed reloading data cards are present. Condition report:
The dies exhibit visible surface oxidation and light rust on the exterior knurled surfaces and adjustment threads, which is consistent with age and storage. The adjustment nuts and locking rings appear to be in working order and move freely. The green plastic storage case is structurally sound but shows minor scuffing and wear, and it retains its original paper labels and a vintage price tag from Allied Sports.
