Gun Collectors Dream Auction #84 June 13th & 14th
Lot 1573:
Sold for: $60
Description
This lot consists of two boxes containing a total of 100 rounds of Federal American Eagle centerfire pistol ammunition chambered in .327 Federal Magnum. Each cartridge is loaded with an 85-grain soft point bullet in a reloadable brass case, designed for versatility in both range use and defensive scenarios. The ammunition is packaged in two standard red and black cardboard boxes of 50 rounds each. Notable markings on the end flaps include the manufacturer model designation AE327A, the caliber 327 FEDERAL MAGNUM, and the bullet weight 85 GRAIN SOFT POINT. The brass cases feature headstamps marked FC 327 FED MAG, identifying the manufacturer and caliber.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good condition overall. The brass cases exhibit light tarnish and minor superficial oxidation in localized areas consistent with age and storage, while the primers remain factory-set and un-struck. The bullets are tightly crimped and free of significant deformation. The original cardboard packaging shows typical shelf wear, including edge scuffing, minor creasing, and light fraying at the corner flaps. The ammunition appears to be live.
