Description
This is a Firearms International Corp. The Regent double-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle, configured with an 8-shot swing-out cylinder and a 6-inch round barrel. The firearm features a fixed front ramp sight and a frame-notched rear sight. The metal surfaces exhibit a worn grey and blued finish with extensive surface scratching, thinning, and areas of light oxidation throughout the frame, barrel, and cylinder. The furniture consists of two-piece checkered dark brown polymer grips featuring a diamond motif on each side. Key markings include the model designation THE REGENT along with FIREARMS INT L CORP. WASHINGTON D.C. and CAL. .22 L.R. MADE IN U.S.A. stamped on the left side of the frame. The serial number R10846 is visible on the right side of the frame. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in fair to good condition, exhibiting significant cosmetic wear consistent with regular use. The blued finish is heavily thinned and scratched, particularly on the barrel and cylinder, with a mottled grey patina and areas of light surface oxidation present. The cylinder shows a visible drag line. The bore is bright with distinct rifling. The checkered polymer grips remain intact with minor smoothing to the diamond pattern and light handling marks, but no cracks are observed. The action appears to cycle and lock up normally.
