Description
This lot consists of a total of 200 rounds of Georgia Arms 45 Auto Rim ammunition, organized into four individual 50-round factory-sealed clear plastic bags. The collection includes 150 rounds of 230-grain lead round nose (LRN) ammunition under part number G45ARA, featuring a listed muzzle velocity of 780 FPS. The remaining 50 rounds are 200-grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) ammunition, identified by part number G45ARB, with a higher listed muzzle velocity of 850 FPS. Verbatim markings on the manufacturer labels include GEORGIA ARMS, G45ARA, G45ARB, 45 AUTO RIM, 230GR LEAD ROUND NOSE, 200GR JACKETED HOLLOW POINT, (NEW AMMUNITION), 50 RDS, FPS-780, and FPS-850. The cartridges utilize rimmed brass casings specifically designed for use in revolvers chambered for the .45 caliber without necessitating the use of moon clips. The headstamps on visible casings are marked 45 AUTO RIM.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in very good condition and remains in its original manufacturer-sealed plastic bags. The brass casings are clean and exhibit a bright finish with no significant signs of corrosion or tarnish. The lead round nose projectiles in the G45ARA bags show minor surface oxidation typical of lead components in storage, while the copper-jacketed hollow point projectiles in the G45ARB bag remain clean and bright. All primers appear correctly seated and the rounds appear to be live and functional. The plastic bags and printed labels are intact and fully legible.
