Description
This lot consists of a collection of 3000 vintage CCI No. 209B Winchester Size shotshell caps, which are primers used for shotgun shell reloading, produced by Cascade Cartridge, Inc. of Lewiston, Idaho. The components are contained within their original yellow and black cardboard packaging, which prominently displays the manufacturer logo consisting of the letters C, C, and i inside diamond-shaped borders. Prominent markings transcribed from the boxes include shotshell caps, NON-CORROSIVE, and NON-MERCURIC. Additional printed text identifies the primers as model NO. 209B, specifies WINCHESTER SIZE, and lists the manufacturer as cascade cartridge, inc., Lewiston, Idaho. The packaging indicates unit counts of 1000 and 100. One box contains a pink marbled plastic tray designed to hold individual brass-finished primers. The primers appear clean and show no evidence of firing or previous use.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show age-appropriate shelf wear, with some scuffing, minor staining, and light wear to the edges and corners. The printing is clear and the colors are well-preserved. The brass primers appear to be in unused condition with no signs of oxidation or corrosion. The plastic tray is in good physical condition. We have not function-tested these primers.
