Description
A lot consisting of 88 rounds of Winchester USA 223 Remington centerfire rifle ammunition featuring 45 grain Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) bullets. These rounds are intended for varmint and predator hunting applications and are advertised with a muzzle velocity of 3600 feet per second. The ammunition is housed within three Winchester 40-round value pack boxes, two of which contain styrofoam cartridge trays. Prominent packaging markings include the Winchester brand logo, 223 REM, 45 GR. JHP, VARMINT, HIGH VELOCITY 3600 FPS, USA2232, and MADE IN USA. The cartridge headstamps are marked WINCHESTER 223 REM. One box features handwritten notations in black ink reading 9-spent and 30 live. The brass casings and copper-jacketed hollow point projectiles appear well-preserved and free of significant corrosion.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good condition, with the brass cases and copper-jacketed bullets showing minimal signs of oxidation or tarnishing. The cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear, including edge fraying, small tears, and several retail price stickers. One box has handwritten ink markings on the front panel. The ammunition appears to be live and intact, although it has not been function-tested.
