Description
This lot features a set of Peerless Handcuff Company Model 700 chain link handcuffs in their original factory retail packaging. Peerless, an American manufacturer established in 1914 and based in West Springfield, Massachusetts, produces these restraints to meet NIJ Type 3 standards for strength and quality. The set utilizes a classic swing-through design and comes as a complete kit containing one pair of handcuffs, two keys, and a manual. Verbatim markings on the packaging include Peerless Handcuff Company, Model 700 Handcuff, Setting the Standard Since 1914, and Made in USA. The side panel displays a barcode with the sequence 8 17086 01048 5. The handcuffs themselves are visible within the box cutout window, protected by original brown paper wrapping.
Condition report:
The handcuffs appear to be in excellent, unused condition inside the original packaging. The cardboard box exhibits moderate shelf wear consistent with age and storage, including scuffing across the blue and red surfaces, minor edge fraying, and light creasing on the upper display flap. All text and graphics remain clear and legible.
