Description

This is a Ruger Precision Rimfire bolt action rifle chambered in .17 HMR, designed as a highly adjustable long-range training and target platform. The firearm features an 18 inch cold hammer-forged target barrel with a threaded muzzle and a factory-installed protector, housed within a free-float vented aluminum M-LOK handguard. The metal surfaces are finished in a durable matte black, and the receiver is constructed with an integral Picatinny rail for optic mounting. The rifle is built on a black polymer chassis system that incorporates a Quick-Fit adjustable buttstock, allowing for customized length of pull and comb height. It is currently equipped with a Mueller 8-32×44 Target scope featuring a fine crosshair reticle and target turrets, secured by six-screw tactical-style rings. Key markings include the model designation RUGER PRECISION and the manufacture location MAYODAN – NC – USA on the left side of the receiver, alongside the Ruger logo and the serial number 841-05981. The barrel is clearly marked 17 HMR. The lot includes a total of four Ruger BX-15 Magnum Rimfire magazines and a black Allen soft-sided carrying case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The rifle is in good overall condition, retaining most of its original matte black finish with minor surface scuffs and handling marks consistent with light use. The bore is bright with crisp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function smoothly and correctly, and the trigger retains a crisp break, although we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The polymer chassis and adjustable stock are robust with no cracks or significant damage, showing only negligible surface wear. The Mueller optic has clear glass and the adjustment turrets function with tactile clicks. The four magazines show light finish wear on the feed lips but are structurally sound. The Allen soft case is in good condition with functional zippers.
