Description
This Savage Model 10 is a bolt action precision rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, designed for tactical or long range target applications. The rifle is equipped with a 24 inch heavy target profile barrel with a matte black finish, which is matched by the finish on the receiver and bolt. The firearm is mounted in a black synthetic Choate Tactical stock featuring a textured pistol grip, an integrated accessory rail on the underside of the forend, and a rubber recoil pad with the name CHOATE TOOL embossed on the rear. Optics include a Hammers 4-16x50mm variable power scope with a tactical mil-dot reticle, mounted to the receiver via a Picatinny rail. Key markings include the model and caliber designation SAVAGE MODEL 10 CAL. 308 WIN. and the manufacturer information SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. on the barrel. The bolt body is engraved with the Savage name and logo, and the receiver is marked with the serial number G886625. This rifle is missing its detachable box magazine and is not equipped with iron sights. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition, with the metal components retaining a high percentage of their original matte black finish. There are some light surface scratches and handling marks visible on the barrel and receiver. The Choate Tactical stock is structurally sound with minor scuffing consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though the firearm has not been test fired. The optics are clear with a functional adjustment range, and the bore is bright with sharp rifling. The detachable magazine is missing.
