Description
One wood rifle stock designed for the Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic carbine, featuring a dark-stained hardwood construction with a factory-contoured grip. The stock is inletted for the standard Mini-14 receiver and trigger assembly and includes the necessary metal cross-bolt for structural reinforcement. A black metal buttplate is fitted to the rear. Included and attached is an adjustable brown leather M1907-style sling, which features dual adjustment holes and brass frogs. The sling is secured to the buttstock via a metal swivel. No manufacturer markings or serial numbers are present on the wood surface. This lot is offered as a standalone replacement component and does not include the barreled action, trigger group, or magazine.
Condition report:
The wooden stock shows numerous dings, scratches, and areas of thinned finish throughout, consistent with field use. The metal buttplate and sling swivel exhibit a dark patina with light surface oxidation. The leather sling shows significant signs of age, including widespread surface cracking, stiffness, and crazing. The brass hardware on the sling displays a heavy layer of greenish verdigris.
