Description
This lot consists of 80 rounds of centerfire rifle ammunition manufactured by Remington in the popular .270 Winchester caliber. The ammunition is divided into four original retail boxes, each containing 20 cartridges. These factory loads feature 150-grain Core-Lokt soft point (SP) projectiles designed for controlled expansion and effective terminal performance on medium to large game. The packaging is finished in the signature Remington green and yellow color scheme, with markings that include Remington, Core-Lokt, 270 WIN, and 150 GR. CORE-LOKT SP. Additional text on the boxes identifies them as 20 Centerfire Rifle Cartridges and includes a bilingual warning stating Warning: Keep Out of Reach of Children / Cartouches A Percussion Centrale. The sides of the boxes specify the load as 270 WIN 150 GR. CORE-LOKT SP. The brass cartridge cases are prominently headstamped with R-P 270 WIN, denoting manufacture by Remington-Peters. Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good, live condition. The brass casings exhibit some light surface oxidation and minor tarnish consistent with long-term storage, but remain structurally sound. The cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffing along the edges, dings at the corners, and some light surface abrasions. The plastic internal organizers are intact and hold the cartridges securely.
