Description
This is a single Daisy Powerline 822 multi-pump lever action air rifle chambered for .22 caliber pellets, designed for target practice and small game hunting. It features a rifled steel barrel and a die-cast metal receiver with integrated grooves for mounting telescopic sights. The rifle is equipped with a two-piece wooden stock and a matching wooden forearm that functions as the charging lever for the pneumatic power plant. The sighting system consists of a hooded front sight with a bright orange fiber optic insert and a screw-adjustable notch rear sight. Prominent markings on the barrel include the Daisy logo followed by POWERLINE 822, .22 CAL (5.5mm) LEAD AIR GUN PELLET, and DAISY, ROGERS AR USA, with an additional marking stating RIFLED BARREL. The left side of the receiver displays a molded warning and operational instructions. The rifle is finished with a textured black buttplate. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The black finish on the barrel and receiver remains mostly intact but shows thinning on the high edges and several light surface scratches. The wooden stock and forearm exhibit significant signs of use, including numerous scratches, dings, and areas of finish wear, most notably on the underside of the forearm and the left side of the buttstock. A green adhesive label marked 15A is present on the left side of the stock. The rifled bore appears bright with clear rifling. The pumping action and trigger mechanism appear to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this air rifle with pellets.
