Sold for: $65
Description
A collection of 115 rounds of mixed and remanufactured .30-30 Winchester rifle ammunition, primarily intended for use in lever-action hunting rifles. The cartridges are organized within three green plastic MTM Molded Products Company flip-top storage boxes, with one lid retaining a load data label for identifying technical specifications. The lot contains a variety of soft-point projectiles of various weights and styles. Visible headstamps on the cartridge cases include R-P 30-30 WIN, W-W SUPER 30-30 WIN, W.R.A. CO. 30-30, SUPER SPEED 30-30 W.C.F., REM-UMC 30-30, PETERS 30-30, FRONTIER 30-30, and F C 30-30. The diversity of the headstamps and projectile types indicates a combination of vintage factory-loaded stock and remanufactured .30-30 Win ammunition consistent with hand-loading practices.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in fair to good condition overall, with the brass cartridge cases exhibiting varying degrees of natural tarnishing and surface oxidation consistent with age and storage. The lead soft-point tips on some projectiles show minor oxidation and dulling. The MTM storage boxes are structurally sound with functional hinges and latches, showing typical minor scuffing from use. The ammunition appears to be live.
