Description
This is an Industry Brand B3-1 underlever spring-piston air rifle manufactured by the Shanghai Air Gun Factory. The rifle features a blued finish on the receiver and barrel with an under-barrel cocking lever that engages a spring-piston mechanism. A sliding breech cover on top of the receiver opens during the cocking cycle to allow for the manual loading of pellets into the barrel. The smooth wood stock is finished in a high-gloss orange stain and is configured with a grooved forestock and a serrated plastic buttplate. The sighting arrangement consists of an adjustable rear notch sight and a hooded front sight post. Key markings specify the manufacturers origin and identity including the diamond logo containing the Chinese character 工 along with 中国 制造 and MADE IN CHINA stamped on the top of the receiver. The serial number T217133 is transcribed verbatim from the left side of the receiver. The left side of the buttstock displays significant white sticker residue while the right side retains the original factory caution safety label.
Condition report:
The blued metal components are in good condition overall showing minor surface wear and light handling marks consistent with moderate use. The high-gloss finish on the wood stock is largely intact but exhibits scattered dings and scratches particularly around the forend and a prominent area of adhesive residue on the left side of the comb. The underlever cocking action appears to function correctly and the trigger mechanism is responsive though we have not function-tested this air rifle for power or accuracy.
