Description
This lot consists of 96 rounds of .22-250 Remington centerfire rifle ammunition manufactured by PMC and Hornady. The collection includes three 20-round boxes of PMC ammunition loaded with 50 grain Sierra BlitzKing bullets, one 20-round box of Hornady Varmint EXP featuring 55 grain V-MAX bullets, and one 20-round box of Hornady Custom. The Hornady Custom box, originally designated for 55 grain Spire Point projectiles, bears extensive handwritten loading notations indicating 22/250 50 GR SPITZER 32 GR IMR 3031. The cartridges feature a variety of projectile types, including green polymer-tipped BlitzKing bullets, red polymer-tipped V-MAX bullets, and traditional lead-exposed soft-point spitzers. Visible headstamps across the lot include P M C 22-250 REM, REM-UMC 22-250, 22-250 REM, and FRONTIER 22-250 REM.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, scuffing, and some discoloration consistent with age and storage. The brass cartridge cases appear to be in good condition overall, displaying minor surface tarnish but no signs of significant corrosion or case damage. The primers appear intact and unspent.
