Description
The Rock Island Armory Model M20P is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for .22 LR, designed for recreational shooting and utility use. This example features a 21-inch barrel and a blued finish on the receiver and barrel assembly. The wood stock has been aftermarket coated in a matte black finish. This rifle is missing its magazine and is fitted with a broken trigger guard. The sighting system consists of an adjustable rear leaf sight and a broken front post sight that has been modified with a screw. Verbatim markings on the barrel include ROCK ISLAND ARMORY M20P and API-PAHRUMP NV PHILIPPINES along with 22LR ONLY. The receiver is stamped with the serial number RIA1143856. The stock is fitted with a plastic buttplate featuring an AP monogram. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in fair condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver shows thinning and scattered surface scratches. The matte black finish on the stock is heavily chipped and scratched, particularly on the forend and around the action, revealing the light-colored wood underneath. The front sight is broken and appears modified with a screw, and the trigger guard is fractured at the rear. No magazine is included with the lot. The bore was not inspected and the mechanical action has not been function-tested.
