Lot 362:
A Lot of 36 Plastic Ammunition Storage Boxes by Midway, RCBS, and AmmoSafe
Sold for: $85
Description
This lot consists of a collection of 36 plastic ammunition storage boxes manufactured by Midway, RCBS, and AmmoSafe. The grouping features a range of sizes and colors including translucent amber, smoke gray, clear, red, tan, brown, and green. Key markings found on the lids include Midway embossed on the translucent amber boxes, RCBS on the light green boxes, and AmmoSafe on the lids of the far-right red boxes. One tan box features an adhesive label marked 222 R MAG. The boxes are primarily constructed with a hinge-top design and locking tabs, intended to hold standard counts of rifle or handgun cartridges for organized transport and storage. These polymer containers appear to be designed for 50 or 100 round capacities depending on the specific model and caliber size. No ammunition is included with this lot.
Condition report:
The ammunition storage boxes are in good used condition. Physical surfaces show typical minor wear such as scuffs, scratches, and some surface dust. Latches and hinges appear to be fully functional across the collection. Some containers have remnants of adhesive labels or old tape from previous identification. No structural cracks or significant degradation of the plastic was observed.
