Lot 377:
CCI No. 500 Small Pistol Primers Lot of 1000
Sold for: $55
Description
This lot consists of 1,000 CCI No. 500 Small Pistol Primers, which are standard primers designed for reloading various handgun cartridges. The primers are contained within ten individual 100-count sleeves, each holding a black plastic 10×10 grid tray, all housed within a single larger outer box. The primers themselves feature a nickel-plated finish with brass-colored internal anvils visible on the face-up units. The dark blue and silver cardboard packaging is prominently marked with the red CCI logo and labeled Small Pistol Primers No. 500 and 1000 Primers/Amorces. Both the outer box and the individual sleeves bear the identification number 0014 at the bottom right, and a faint factory stamp on one sleeve appears to read F08U0. These components are intended for reliable, non-corrosive ignition in standard pistol applications.
Condition report:
The nickel-plated primers appear to be in good, live condition with no visible signs of corrosion or oxidation. The black plastic trays are fully intact. The cardboard packaging shows significant shelf wear and signs of long-term storage, including surface scuffing to the blue finish, edge fraying, and minor corner impacts, with a small tear present at the top flap of the outer 1,000-count box.
