Description
This Smith & Wesson SD9 VE is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, designed as a versatile platform for personal protection and home defense. The firearm is equipped with a 4-inch barrel and features a distinctive two-tone finish consisting of a satin stainless steel slide and a black polymer frame. The frame is designed with an integrated accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers and a textured polymer grip with specialized side panels and backstrap for improved ergonomics. Sighting is achieved through a fixed three-dot white sight system. Verbatim markings on the left side of the slide include SMITH & WESSON SD9 VE and the Smith & Wesson logo, while the right side is marked SMITH & WESSON above SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. The top of the slide at the ejection port is marked – 9 MM – and the loaded chamber indicator is marked LOADED WHEN UP. The serial number FCZ3888 is present on a label on the underside of the rail and is confirmed on the matching factory box label. This lot includes the original blue cardboard box labeled SD9 VE CA COMPLIANT, two mags as noted in the provided specifications, the safety and instruction manual, and a green Lockdown 15-inch cable lock with keys. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in very good, clean condition with negligible signs of wear or previous use. The satin stainless steel slide finish is well-preserved with no significant scratches or thinning. The black polymer frame is excellent, maintaining sharp texturing on the grip and rail. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, and the magazines seat and release properly, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The original packaging and accessories show only minor shelf wear.
