Gun Collectors Dream Auction #84 June 13th & 14th
Lot 383:
Sold for: $35
Description
This lot consists of two black leather accessories designed for duty or personal carry use. The first item is a Bianchi Model 5 pancake-style belt holster tailored for the Sig Sauer P226 semi-automatic pistol. It is constructed of smooth black leather and features a thumb break retention strap with a metal snap closure and two wide integrated belt loops for secure attachment. Prominent markings on the reverse include a seven-pointed star logo, the manufacturer name Bianchi, the model designation #5, and the firearm fitment Sig Sauer P226. The second item is a single-magazine pouch manufactured by Safariland, featuring a decorative basketweave pattern on the front and a silver-tone snap closure on the retention flap. The reverse of the pouch is stamped with the Safariland name and shield-shaped gazelle logo, model numbers 76 and H86, and fitment markings for the Smith and Wesson Model 59 and Browning 9mm. Both items show signs of previous use including surface scuffing and finish wear.
Condition report:
Both leather accessories are in used condition with visible wear from field carry. The holster exhibits light scuffing to the finish on the exterior face and some softening of the leather, though the thumb break snap functions correctly and the stitching remains intact. The magazine pouch shows more significant wear, particularly on the reverse where there is notable fraying and thinning of the leather around the belt slots. The basketweave pattern remains clear, and the snap closure is functional.
