Description
This lot consists of 19 .50 BMG centerfire rifle cartridges, including two partial boxes and loose rounds. The first box is Federal American Eagle Military Grade ammunition, product code XM33C, featuring 660 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectiles in reloadable brass cases. The second box is PMC Bronze ammunition, product code 50A, containing 660 grain full metal jacket boat-tail (FMJ-BT) cartridges. Also included are loose cartridges with headstamps marked LC 15, signifying production at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in 2015. These cartridges are designed for high-power long-range rifles chambered in the .50 Browning Machine Gun caliber. Verbatim markings on the Federal box include American Eagle, Military Grade, 660 Grain FMJ, 50 BMG, and Muz Vel 2940 FPS. The PMC box is marked PMC Bronze, 10 Centerfire Rifle Cartridges, .50 Cal. BMG, and 660 Grs FMJ-BT. The ammunition is housed in standard retail cardboard packaging which exhibits visible wear.
Condition report:
The ammunition boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffing, edge creasing, and minor tears at the corners. The individual cartridges exhibit varying degrees of surface tarnish and oxidation on the brass casings. One visible cartridge shows a distinct darkened appearance at the neck and shoulder area, which is consistent with the factory annealing process. The primers appear undisturbed, and all cartridges are intact. We have not function-tested this ammunition and cannot guarantee its performance or reliability.
