Description
This Gamo Shadow Express is a break-barrel air rifle chambered in .22 caliber (5.5mm). It features a 18-inch barrel uniquely designed with a full-length ventilated rib and a brass bead front sight, giving it a shotgun-style appearance. The metal components are finished in a matte black, and the receiver is equipped with an integral rail for mounting optics. The rifle is housed in a durable black synthetic stock that includes textured grip panels on the pistol grip and forend, a raised cheekpiece, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Verbatim markings on the receiver include the GAMO logo and SHADOW EXPRESS, while the receiver tube is stamped WARNING BEFORE USING READ OWNER’S MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM GAMO USA. The barrel block is clearly marked with the serial number 04-1C-559031-08, Cal. 5,5 (.22), MADE IN SPAIN, and PATENTED. Note – As an air rifle, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The air rifle is in good condition overall. The matte black finish on the receiver and barrel shows minor surface wear and light handling marks consistent with moderate use. The black synthetic stock remains in good shape, displaying some superficial scratches and dings, but the textured panels remain crisp and well-defined. The action appears to function smoothly, and the bore is bright. The brass bead sight and ventilated rib are intact and straight. We have not function-tested this air rifle for muzzle velocity or accuracy.
