Description
This lot features twenty-five individual 12-gauge shotgun shells contained within five original retail boxes. Prominent markings include BRENNEKE KO 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, WINCHESTER SUPER-X HOLLOW POINT RIFLED SLUGS, and FEDERAL MAGNUM BUCKSHOT 2 3/4 inch / 12 GA. The individual Brenneke shells feature clear plastic hulls marked 2 3/4 inch/70mm with brass heads stamped with the number 12 and the manufacturer name. Winchester shells are marked with WINCHESTER 12 GA on the heads. The Federal boxes include vintage price stickers from BIG R KEY.
Condition report:
The ammunition boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear including corner compression, edge scuffing, and minor staining. The Federal boxes show more significant shelf wear than the Brenneke and Winchester boxes. The shotgun shells themselves appear to be in good condition, although the metallic heads show scattered surface oxidation and tarnish. All ammunition appears to be live.
