Description
This Healthways Plainsman MC 22 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for .22 caliber ammunition. The firearm features a standard barrel with a blued finish that extends through the receiver assembly. The furniture is comprised of a one-piece wood stock featuring a smooth finish and a curved pistol grip. It comes equipped with a fixed front blade sight and an adjustable rear iron sight for elevation. A manual safety selector is positioned at the top rear of the receiver. Key markings include the model designation Plainsman MC 22 and the manufacturer and location HEALTHWAYS L.A. CALIF. stamped into the left side of the receiver, with the safety positions clearly marked SAFE and FIRE. Please note that this rifle is missing its magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal components retain a majority of their blued finish but show moderate wear, thinning on the high edges, and scattered minor surface scratches. The wood stock displays numerous scratches, scuffs, and impact dings throughout, consistent with field use and age. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function normally when manually operated, but we have not function-tested this firearm. No magazine is present with this lot.
