Description
This Winchester Model 67 is a single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle cartridges. Designed for target shooting and small game, it features a 27-inch round barrel with a blued finish that extends to the receiver. The bolt assembly is bright polished steel and includes a manual knurled cocking piece at the rear that must be pulled back to prime the action after a round is chambered. The rifle is stocked in a one-piece American walnut stock with a semi-pistol grip and a smooth forend. It is equipped with a fixed silver bead front sight and a rear elevator-adjustable leaf sight. The butt is finished with a black checkered composite buttplate featuring the manufacturer’s logo. Verbatim barrel markings include MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. — MODEL 67 — 22 SHORT — LONG AND LONG RIFLE — WINCHESTER — TRADE MARK —. A Winchester WP proof mark is visible on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. This firearm does not have a serial number as it was manufactured before serialization was required. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The original blued finish is well-preserved, remaining at approximately 90% with some light thinning near the muzzle and minor handling marks along the barrel and receiver. The bright bolt and cocking piece show minor surface oxidation but remain largely reflective. The bore is bright and clean with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action cycles smoothly and appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The walnut stock is in very good condition, retaining most of its original finish with scattered light dings and surface scratches consistent with careful field use. The buttplate is intact with no cracks and shows only light wear to the checkering.
