Description

This is a Remington Model 770 bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, designed as a durable sporting and hunting firearm. The rifle features a 24-inch barrel with a matte black finish that extends to the receiver. The receiver is equipped with a factory-installed Picatinny-style optic rail for mounting various sighting systems. The furniture consists of a black synthetic stock featuring textured grip panels on the forend and pistol grip for improved handling, terminating in a black rubber Remington branded recoil pad. A detachable box magazine is seated in the well, and the rifle is fitted with a black nylon sling that includes a padded shoulder section. Visible markings include the model designation Remington MODEL 770 and the serial number M71874387 on the left side of the receiver. The barrel is roll-marked REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. MAYFIELD, KY. and 300 WIN MAG. The right side of the barrel displays proof marks including REP within an oval, an E inside a shield, and the numerical code 66. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The metal surfaces retain a high percentage of their original matte black finish with only minor handling marks and faint surface wear. The synthetic stock is in good condition, showing some light scuffs and superficial scratches consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly and the bolt cycles smoothly, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The bore was not inspected but the exterior of the muzzle appears clean. The included sling and recoil pad show minimal wear.
