Lot 466:
A Lot of 100 Rounds of PMC Precision Made Cartridges .45 Auto Rim Ammunition
Sold for: $70
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of PMC Precision Made Cartridges brand .45 Auto Rim ammunition. The cartridges are loaded with 200 grain semi-wadcutter full metal jacket (SWC-FMJ) bullets in brass casings. The quantity is comprised of two factory boxes containing 50 rounds each. Key markings include the manufacturer designation PMC and the caliber 45 AUTO RIM on the cartridge headstamps. The packaging is labeled 50 CENTERFIRE PISTOL CARTRIDGES and MADE IN THE USA on the front, with the end flaps providing specific load data transcribed as 45AR, 45 AUTO RIM, and 200 Gr. SWC-FMJ. This ammunition is designed for use in revolvers chambered for the .45 Auto Rim cartridge, offering a rimmed case design that allows for positive extraction without the need for moon clips in firearms such as the M1917.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent condition, with the brass casings and copper jackets appearing clean and free from corrosion or significant tarnishing. The primers are intact and properly seated. The two cardboard boxes show typical shelf wear consistent with age, including scuffing to the red finish, minor corner impacts, and light surface soiling, but they remain structurally intact and all printed information is legible.
