Description
Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension Series I 2-die reloading set chambered for .243 Winchester. This set is comprised of a full-length sizing die and a seating die, both featuring steel construction with knurled bodies and adjustable lock rings. The set is designed for use with a number 1 shell holder and is housed in its original red plastic storage case which features a raised Hornady logo on the lid. A single Allen wrench for adjusting the lock rings is included. Prominent markings on the exterior label include Hornady CUSTOM-GRADE New Dimension Dies, .243 WINCHESTER, Series I, 2 Die Set FULL LENGTH, Item # 544244, and Use Shellholder # 1. The interior of the case contains a protective foam insert.
Condition report:
The dies exhibit surface discoloration and scattered light oxidation consistent with age and use. All threading appears to be functional and intact. The original red plastic case is structurally sound with minor scuffing from storage. The identifying side label is present but shows wear, scuffing, and black ink-stamped markings over the caliber designation. The interior foam padding is heavily stained and shows signs of deterioration.
