Lot 506:
A Lot of Approximately 400 .45 Caliber Copper Jacketed Reloading Projectiles
Sold for: $110
Description
This lot consists of five plastic bags containing approximately 400 copper-jacketed reloading projectiles in .45 caliber, with a total weight of 13 lbs. The collection is primarily comprised of 230-grain round-nose full metal jacket (FMJ) projectiles, while one bag contains 250-grain projectiles featuring a flat-nose profile. Visible markings include a printed label on the top-left bag reading 230 BK-WALL FMJ with a barcode 6 09824 14695 8 and a handwritten 100 ct. Other markings include handwritten 230 GR FMJ 45 CAL on the top-right bag, 100 45 CAL 230 GR on the bottom-left bag, and 250 GR 45 CAL on the bottom-right bag. One smaller bag on the mid-right is unlabeled but contains similar rounded FMJ projectiles. These components are intended for handloading and do not include completed cartridges, brass cases, powder, or primers.
Condition report:
The projectiles are in good condition for reloading purposes. The copper jackets show varying degrees of surface oxidation, dullness, and minor handling marks consistent with bulk storage, but they remain free of heavy corrosion or significant deformation. The lead cores visible at the bases appear stable.
