Description

This comprehensive lot consists of 189 mixed ammunition cartridges designed for rifle, handgun, and rimfire applications. The centerfire rifle selection includes 21 cartridges of .30-06 Springfield, featuring headstamps marked WINCHESTER 30-06 SPRG, and housed with an original Winchester Super X 180 grain Power-Point box. Also included are 14 cartridges of .250 Savage bearing R-P 250 SAV headstamps, accompanied by an original Remington Express Rifle 100 grain pointed soft point box. The handgun ammunition portion comprises 45 cartridges of .357 Magnum contained within a red plastic grid tray; these rounds exhibit various headstamps including HORNADY, R-P, FEDERAL, and WINCHESTER. The remainder of the lot is composed of 109 loose rimfire cartridges, primarily .22 caliber including .22 Short and Long Rifle variants, which are stored in a clear resealable plastic bag. These rimfire rounds feature various headstamps such as the letters C, W, and U. The variety of projectiles across the lot includes jacketed soft point, lead round nose, and hollow point configurations.

Condition report:

The ammunition and original cardboard packaging show typical signs of age and long-term storage. The brass cases exhibit varying levels of surface oxidation and a dark natural patina, particularly on the loose rimfire and older centerfire rounds. Lead projectiles on several cartridges display a light white oxidation. Both original cardboard boxes for the Winchester and Remington ammunition show significant shelf wear, with frayed edges, corner dings, and surface abrasions. The red plastic case for the .357 Magnum remains in good structural condition. All ammunition is sold as-is for display or collectibility, and none of the cartridges have been function-tested.
