Lot 568:
A Lot of 214 Rounds of .223 Rem Remanufactured Ammunition
Sold for: $80
Description
This lot consists of a total of 214 rounds of .223 Rem remanufactured ammunition, organized into four plastic flip-top storage cases. The ammunition is constructed with nickel-plated cases and features a variety of projectile types, including orange polymer-tipped bullets, green polymer-tipped bullets, and copper-jacketed hollow points. Handwritten labels on the box lids provide specific technical load data, transcribing as .223 40GR NOSLER, 26.5GR AA2230, and 223 REM 40GR BT. The cartridges are distributed among the cases with 56 rounds in the blue box, 55 rounds in the light blue box, 52 rounds in the tan box, and 51 rounds in the green box. The rounds appear to be handloaded or remanufactured using premium components consistent with Nosler Ballistic Tip and Sierra BlitzKing projectiles. The nickel cases show a bright, consistent finish throughout the collection.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good, serviceable condition. The nickel-plated cases are clean and bright, showing no significant signs of oxidation, corrosion, or tarnishing. The polymer tips are intact and properly seated, and the copper-jacketed hollow points appear uniform. The plastic flip-top storage boxes are fully functional with intact hinges and latches, though they bear various handwritten markings and labels from the previous owner.
