Description

This lot consists of 350 spent nickel-plated cartridge cases chambered for .38 Super and .38 Auto, intended for use as reloading components. The lot is comprised of cases from multiple manufacturers, including Remington-Peters and Winchester. Key markings transcribed from the headstamps include R-P 38 SUPER +P, WIN 38 SUPER AUTO +P, and W-W 38 AUTO. These cases feature a bright nickel finish and show signs of being once-fired, including internal carbon residue and spent primers. Some of the Winchester-produced cases exhibit visible red lacquer sealant around the primer pocket. The casings are presented in two clear plastic bags as unprocessed range brass and will require standard preparation, including cleaning and resizing, before being reloaded.

Condition report:

The nickel-plated cases remain in good condition with a bright exterior finish. There are no obvious signs of significant corrosion, verdigris, or mouth damage. The cases show typical firing residue and contain spent primers. They are sold as unprocessed range brass and have not been gauged or inspected for structural integrity beyond a visual assessment.
