Gun Collectors Dream Auction #84 June 13th & 14th
Lot 578:
Sold for: $35
Description
A collection of three sets of handgun grips for various platforms. To the left is a pair of smooth, dark reddish-brown wood panels designed for a semi-automatic pistol, consistent with a full-size 1911-style frame, currently held together by a black nylon zip tie. The center item is a one-piece black rubberized wrap-around grip with three finger grooves and checkered side panels. This grip features a gold-toned circular medallion depicting a lion, identifying it as a Pachmayr Gripper model. To the right is a pair of smooth, light-toned wood revolver grips featuring silver-toned medallions with the Ruger stylized eagle and intertwined letters S and R. This pair is held together by a single metal grip screw and is typical of Ruger factory service-style furniture. Prominent markings include the lion motif on the Pachmayr medallions and the Ruger eagle with SR monogram on the wood revolver grips. These items are accessories and do not include mounting hardware beyond what is pictured.
Condition report:
All three sets of grips are in good used condition. The 1911 wood panels show minor surface handling marks and light wear to the edges. The Pachmayr rubber grip remains supple and intact with minor scuffing and light dust within the checkering. The Ruger wood grips exhibit minor dings and small scratches consistent with field use, and the silver-toned medallions remain bright and legible. Screws and zip ties are functional as shown.
