Lot 577:
A Lot of 100 .30 Carbine Ammunition Rounds
Sold for: $150
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of .30 Carbine centerfire ammunition, featuring straight-walled brass cases and copper-jacketed round-nose projectiles. This configuration is consistent with standard full metal jacket ammunition designed for the M1 Carbine and similar firearms. The rounds are presented in two translucent plastic storage boxes. Due to the orientation, specific manufacturer headstamps are not visible for transcription. The brass cases exhibit minor surface oxidation and spotting common with age, while the copper projectiles appear well-maintained.
Condition report:
The brass cases show minor surface oxidation and spotting but remain structurally sound. The copper jackets on the projectiles are clean and free of significant corrosion. The ammunition appears to be live and is in good overall condition for its age, though it has not been function-tested.
