Description
This lot consists of fifteen individual boxes of vintage Coast to Coast Master-Mag high-velocity rimfire cartridges in .22 Long Rifle caliber. Each of the fifteen cardboard boxes contains 50 rounds, totaling the provided quantity of 750 rounds. The ammunition features brass casings and copper-plated lead bullets. Visual inspection of the cartridge headstamps reveals a capital letter H centered within a circle, which identifies the manufacturer as Winchester-Western. Verbatim markings on the end flaps of the boxes specify 50 Long Rifle 22 High Velocity and include the part number 608-0022. The top of each box is marked with the Coast to Coast Master-Mag brand and the 22 Long Rifle designation along with High Velocity Rim Fire Cartridges. These cartridges are designated as high-velocity rimfire ammunition intended for use in firearms chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge.
Condition report:
The original cardboard boxes exhibit age-related edge wear, light scuffing, and minor surface staining consistent with long-term storage. The ammunition shows significant signs of age, including prominent white lead bloom and oxidation on the copper-plated lead bullets. The brass casings display varying levels of moderate tarnishing and surface discoloration throughout the lot. The ammunition is sold as vintage collector items and its functional reliability or performance has not been tested.
