Description
A two-piece set of reloading dies for .222 Remington manufactured by the Lachmiller Engineering Company of Glendale, California. This set consists of a full-length sizing die and a bullet seating die, both constructed from steel with knurled gripping surfaces and hexagonal locking rings. Verbatim markings on the sizing die include .222 REM SIZ while the seating die is marked .222 REM SEAT. The dies are housed in their original yellow and red cardboard packaging which displays the company name and the address of 6445 San Fernando Road, Glendale 1, Calif., along with the vintage telephone exchange CHapman 5-1726.
Condition report:
The dies are in good used condition with a bright steel finish showing minor surface scratches and light handling wear consistent with age. The threads and knurled areas are well-defined and appear functional. The original cardboard box exhibits significant shelf wear, including corner rounding, surface tears, and an orange adhesive retail sticker reading SALE PRICE $ 35.00.
