Description
This Weatherby Vanguard bolt action rifle is chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum and features a blued barrel and receiver. The rifle is equipped with a synthetic stock that has been customized with a multi-tonal grey and white skull pattern hydro-dipped finish, topped with a black rubber LimbSaver recoil pad. Verification of markings on the receiver reveals VANGUARD, MADE IN JAPAN, by Weatherby, and SOUTH GATE, CALIFORNIA engraved on the right side. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number V12429, while the barrel is designated 7MM REM. MAG. at the receiver junction. This firearm is fitted with a large-diameter tactical-style telescopic optic featuring high-profile turrets, a mil-dot reticle, and flip-up lens covers, secured by two-piece rings. Additionally, a Firefield brand adjustable folding bipod is mounted to the front swivel stud. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good used condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver remains mostly intact with some light surface scratches and minor thinning at the muzzle. The custom skull-pattern hydro-dipped finish on the stock shows light wear from handling but remains vibrant. The optics are clear, and the tactical turrets provide positive clicks. The Firefield bipod and LimbSaver recoil pad show standard signs of use. The bore was not inspected, but the bolt action appears to function smoothly and correctly. We have not function-tested this firearm.
