Description

This is a post-war commercial production Mauser Parabellum semi-automatic pistol chambered in .30 Luger (7.65mm), manufactured in Germany and imported by Interarms as part of their American Eagle series. The firearm features a 6-inch tapered barrel equipped with a ramped blade front sight and a toggle-mounted notch rear sight. The metal components are finished in a deep high-polish bluing, with distinctive straw-colored heat treatment on the trigger, magazine release, takedown lever, and ejector. The furniture consists of two-piece checkered walnut grips. Transcribed markings are extensive: the left side of the receiver is marked MAUSER PARABELLUM and .30 Luger; the right side of the frame and receiver bear the serial number 10.00.1432, a sunburst proof mark, and INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA. The front grip strap is marked MAUSER-WERKE A.G. Oberndorf a.N., while the rear of the frame is stamped Made in Germany. The top of the toggle features the Original MAUSER banner logo, and the chamber is roll-stamped with the American Eagle crest. This lot includes the original Mauser/Interarms blue and white factory box, one magazine with a plastic floorplate, a cleaning brush, a takedown tool, an instruction manual, and a factory test target numbered to the gun and dated December 21, 1970. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The pistol is in excellent, near-new condition, appearing to retain 99% or more of its original high-polish blued finish with only the faintest handling marks. The straw-colored components remain bright and vibrant. The checkered walnut grips are sharp with no notable dings or compressed checkering. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling. The factory box is in very good condition, showing light shelf wear and minor scuffing at the corners, with the original end label present and matching the firearm.
