Description

This lot features a single 1092 round sealed spam can of 7.62x38R Nagant ammunition produced for the Soviet military. The steel container is finished in an olive drab paint and displays several rows of black stenciled markings identifying its contents and origin. Verbatim markings include 7,62Ргл on the first row, indicating 7.62mm caliber for revolver use with brass cases. The second row displays Д64-77-38 which identifies the lot number, the manufacture year of 1977, and factory code 38 for the Yuryuzan Mechanical Plant. The third row markings are П-45 5/76 С which identify the specific propellant used and its 1976 production lot. The quantity is clearly denoted at the bottom as 1092 шт. which translates to 1,092 pieces. This ammunition is chambered for the Russian Nagant M1895 revolver and uses a specialized cartridge where the projectile is seated below the case mouth to facilitate the revolver’s gas-seal action.

Condition report:

The container remains factory sealed and unopened. The exterior paint shows moderate surface wear consistent with age and long-term storage, including light scratches, scuffs, and minor oxidation along the edges and seams. The stenciled markings remain legible. Internal contents are assumed to be in good condition due to the airtight seal of the container, though they have not been inspected or tested for functionality.
