Description

This lot contains 420 rounds of 7.5 Swiss ammunition, specifically the Swiss GP11 (Gewehrpatrone 11) 7.5x55mm military surplus cartridge. The ammunition is organized into seven individual cardboard boxes, each containing sixty rounds, and is housed within a black vulcanized fiber field carrier equipped with a black canvas shoulder strap and metal hardware. Markings on the ammunition boxes are printed in German, French, and Italian, including Gewehrpatrone 11, 7,5mm GP 11, cartouche 11 pour fusil, and cartuccia 11 per fucile. The boxes further display the identification code 591-1100 and multiple manufacturing lot numbers including 6.9.78A, 11.4.79 A, and 16.8.82 A, along with the quantity designation Anzahl 60. The exterior of the black carrier features a white adhesive label with handwritten markings reading 7.5 Swiss and 420 Rds. This ammunition pattern was standard issue for Swiss service rifles such as the Schmidt-Rubin and K31 series and features a 174-grain full metal jacket projectile with a non-corrosive primer.

Condition report:

The black vulcanized fiber carrier exhibits moderate external wear including scuffing, surface scratches, and minor loss of the black finish, particularly along the edges and corners. The integrated black canvas shoulder strap and metal buckle remain intact and functional, showing minor fraying at the edges of the strap. The individual cardboard ammunition boxes are well-preserved with light surface soiling and minor corner compression consistent with storage. The ammunition appears to be in well-maintained, live condition, with the brass cases showing no signs of significant corrosion or oxidation and the projectiles remain securely seated.
