Lot 181:
A Lot of 85 Rounds of .303 British Ammunition on Stripper Clips
Sold for: $120
Description
A lot of eighty-five rounds of .303 British ammunition, organized on multiple blackened steel stripper clips each containing five rounds. The cartridges feature brass cases with prominent annealing at the neck and are topped with copper-jacketed spitzer full metal jacket FMJ bullets. The case headstamps feature markings including characters transcribed as h, y, and x, accompanied by green primer sealant consistent with military specifications. At least one stripper clip is stamped with the letters BP. The ammunition is housed in two plain white cardboard boxes.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good overall condition, exhibiting a natural age-related patina on the brass cases and copper bullet jackets. The blackened steel stripper clips show some surface wear and minor oxidation but remain structurally sound. The cartridges appear live and are well-preserved with no significant corrosion or damage. We have not function tested this ammunition.
