Description

This is a single Soviet Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30 bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62x54R, a standard infantry configuration from World War II. The rifle features a blued finish on the metal components and is mounted in a wood stock with a straight wrist and finger-grooved forend. It is equipped with standard military iron sights, including a rear tangent sight and a front post, and retains a cleaning rod. Key markings on the barrel shank include the Soviet hammer and sickle inside a wreath, the production year 1943г, the primary serial number PЛ3820, and the Izhevsk arsenal mark of an arrow inside a triangle. Matching serial numbers are stamped on the bolt handle and the buttplate. The receiver bears laser-engraved import markings from R GUNS in Carpentersville, IL, which specify the model 91/30, the caliber 7.62x54R, and a secondary serial number R05095. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The metal surfaces show typical military wear with thinning and fading of the blued finish throughout. The wood stock exhibits various scuffs, scratches, and dings consistent with field use and storage. The bore is not visible for inspection, but the external barrel assembly appears intact. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
