Description
This lot consists of eighty rounds of centerfire rifle ammunition manufactured by Sellier and Bellot, contained within four individual boxes of twenty rounds each. The ammunition features 173-grain (11.2g) SPCE (Soft Point Cutting Edge) projectiles designed for hunting applications. Three of the boxes are labeled for the 7x57R Mauser rimmed caliber, while one box is labeled for the standard 7x57mm Mauser rimless caliber. All cartridges observed in the provided images feature rimmed brass cases with headstamps transcribed verbatim as S and B 7x57R. The packaging is marked with the Sellier and Bellot logo and specified product codes including SB757RA for the rimmed cartridges and SB757C for the rimless-labeled box. Each box contains a plastic grid tray to secure the cartridges. Markings on the side of the boxes include 7×57 R, SPCE, 173 grs 11.2g, and No. 2932.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good, clean condition with bright brass cases and no visible signs of corrosion or significant tarnish. The lead-tipped projectiles are well-preserved. The cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffed edges, minor tears, and handwritten ink strike-throughs or markings on the caliber designation labels. The ammunition is sold as live, though its functional reliability has not been tested.
