Condition report:
The set is in well-used, field-carried condition. The blade has been heavily sharpened, significantly altering its original profile and finish, with prominent diagonal whetstone scratches visible. The leather handle shows drying, heavy wear, and several cracks. There is surface oxidation and light pitting on the crossguard, pommel, and scabbard throat fittings. The canvas webbing is intact but shows significant fading, soiling, and minor fraying at the edges. The snap fastener remains functional.
